Fred has over 20 years senior management and director-level experience in the security industry across East, West and Southern Africa having worked for reputable global security companies with focus on Technology, Risk, Operations and Commercial Management. He retains strong capability in Strategy, Business Development, Budgeting & P&L, General Management, Security Consultancy, Solution Design and Project Management. Underpinning these key skills is commercial acumen, a firm knowledge of the industry across the continent and a strong network of supply chain partners who bring on board the most exacting standards for safety and security.
Fred brings on board vast industry-specific knowledge and expertise and will be charged with driving the growth and expansion of Gruppe Technologie.

Steve Kombo is a proven commercial leader and high impact results-oriented professional with over 18 years’ experience in multicultural/multinational business environments focused in sales optimization and business development within the East African markets. Steve has both Services and FMCG product experience in B2B & B2C situations with a track record of achieving substantial growth in his career through strategic partnerships, business development, exploiting cross selling opportunities and developing effective route to market strategies that enhance the competitive advantage of brands in the market.
Steve will lend his expertise in Sales, Marketing and Business Development borrowing from his hands-on experience and knowhow in the FMCG and Services sectors.

Kanyuka is a Registered Engineer (REng.) and a Fellow of the Engineering Institution of Zambia (FEIZ) with over 22 years all-round experience as a senior Civil Engineer and Infrastructure Expert. He is also a Member of the Association of Consulting Engineers of Zambia (ACEZ). He is currently working as a Consultant in the Transport Sector, providing expertise to multilateral banks and other organisations. He has also previously worked with the World Bank as a Transport and Infrastructure expert for Zambia and Malawi. He is a past CEO of the Road Development Agency of Zambia (RDA) preceded by roles as Senior Manager and Director focusing on Planning and Design. His experience includes infrastructure project planning, design, appraisal, supervision, contract administration and construction management.
Kanyuka brings with him both technical, operational and executive expertise anchored on his strong engineering background and affiliations and will provide vital balance to our overall knowledge base

Derrick is highly regarded finance consultant and a seasoned banker with over 20 years experience in the banking Industry in East Africa. He started his Finance career at Coopers and Lybrand and later Deloitte more than 25 years ago. He then joined Commercial Bank of Africa (CBA) as the Chief Accountant and later General Manager, Finance and Administration before rising to Chief Financial Officer. He then assumed a strategic group executive role to help drive the bank’s expansion in East Africa, particularly Uganda and Tanzania. Before embarking on his consultancy journey in 2018 Derrick was the CEO of CBA Rwanda.
Derrick’s expertise in Finance will be vital in driving and executing strategy and guiding the company executives on best practice in financial and stakeholder management.
